Telijjawila Central College, the worthwhile land, which once kept a reputed name in the Southern part of Sri Lanka and degraded later with the downfall of the central colleges, is having a new dawn and making the darkness spreading every nook and corner fade away. I am much delighted to issue a message to the newly launched website.

I'd like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank my cordial tutorial staff that is bringing all island victories to the school in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, making the school a splendid oasis, showing recorded examination results, making the darkness of violence fade away and tending towards a decent and calm pattern of conduct and my beloved students who are stepping towards "an ideal school".

"The way in which we travelled was short and the distance that we should travel is long" I emphatically believe that we could get over all sort of obstacles before us and channel the school to a new path , because of our noble humanity ,besides our sincere commitment and dedication During the by-gone two years' period after my arrival.

Our vision is "Towards an ideal school in 2010"We've already stepped in this way some distance. We need the aid of the entire community in association with the school to maintain it and build an ideal school. To offer that aid, the good omens that we showed before you were tremendous.
